Blush-Toned Serra Plaza Wedding

Teresa’s finishing touches were complete inside the Bridal Suite at Serra Plaza, so she headed over to Mission San Juan Capistrano where her and CJ were meeting for their first look. Standing with his back to her, CJ anxiously awaited a tap on the shoulder. Teresa’s steps grew nearer, and finally, a tap on the shoulder turned CJ around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. The couple shared sweet compliments and read handwritten vows, the joined their wedding party for group photos around the Mission. After posing with their friends and creating memories along the way, CJ, Teresa, and their bridesmaids and groomsmen headed back to Serra Plaza for the tea and wedding ceremony.

Before everyone arrived, CJ and Teresa shared an intimate tea ceremony with close family and friends, then the wedding party lined up for the big ceremony as more guests arrived. Terracotta, white, and light pink flowers lined the aisle and decorated the Spanish Fountain. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Teresa. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls and Sticky Pork Belly Bites made their rounds to hungry guests inside the Lounge while the bar served up Moscow Mule and Manhattan Martini signature cocktails. A modern lounge setup in white and tan was placed in front of the floral-framed fireplace for additional guest seating. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time to head back outside for reception.

Tables were draped in white linen and topped with white candlesticks and floral centerpieces under sparkling chandeliers. CJ and Teresa made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Thai Three Flavored BBQ Chicken, Sesame and Ginger Beef, Pineapple Fried Rice, Spicy Szechuan Green Beans, and Vermicelli Noodle Salad was served and guests made toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in a little something sweet for dessert. The evening ended back inside the Lounge with lots of dancing and posing for photos in the photo booth.
