Fresh Floral Indoor Serra Plaza Wedding Ceremony

Fresh Floral Indoor Serra Plaza Wedding Ceremony

Shanice and her bridesmaids got ready in the Serra Plaza bridal suite while Daniel and his groomsmen suited up at the Inn at The Mission. Once both groups were ready, they headed to Mission San Juan Capistrano for the first look and group photos. A tap on the shoulder turned Daniel around to see his beautiful wife standing before him in a white wedding gown with lace details. An emotional first look was shared, then the couple joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen for photos and headed back to Serra Plaza.

Guests entered the Lounge, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Greenery danced up the fireplace wall and fresh flowers decorated the bottom. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entranced ending with Shanice. In front of all their closest friends and family, the couple shared their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. White flower petals were tossed as the newlyweds danced their way out of the ceremony and into cocktail hour.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Seared Ahi on Wonton Chips were tray passed while the bar served up Paloma and Old Fashioned signature drinks. Guests mixed, mingled, and posed for photos at the photo booth, and Shanice and Daniel wandered around the venue with their photographer posing for romantics. Just as the sun began setting, guests checked the seating chart display and found their seats in the courtyard.

Tables were topped with fresh floral centerpieces and flickering candles that set the romantic scene. Shanice and Daniel made their grand entrance as the crowd cheered and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Chicken Marsala, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Tortellini Corsica, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Caesar Salad was served while friends shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner the couple shared their first dance, cut into their cake, poured champagne, and invited everyone to indulge in our Latin Dessert Station with a collection of Tres Leches Cakes, Mini Caramel Custard Flan, Coconut Macaroons, Dulce de Leche Chocolate Tarts, and Mexican Wedding Cookies. The remainder of the evening was spent inside the Lounge continuing the celebration and dancing to live saxophone and DJ beats.
