Modern Black, White, and Green Serra Plaza Wedding

Sarah and her bridesmaids got ready inside the Bridal Suite at Serra Plaza while Grant and his groomsmen suited up off-site at the Inn at The Mission. Both groups kept their distance from one another as to not spoil the first look between the bride and groom that they were saving for the aisle. The bridesmaids changed into champagne-colored dresses and posed in the Courtyard with Sarah who wore a lace wedding dress. After their photos, the boys dressed in black took over and smiled for the camera. When both groups were done with photos, they all lined up for the ceremony.
Guests signed Grant and Sarah’s guest book and found their seats in the Courtyard. Modern black lanterns filled with white candles lined the aisle up to the Spanish fountain where white flowers and greenery stood tall matching arrangements at the back of the aisle. Once everyone was in attendance the wedding party made their entrances ending with Sarah. Smiles filled Sarah and Grant’s faces as soon as they saw each other and happy tears were shed. Together in front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
The bar opened in the Lounge serving Moscow Mule and Skinny Margarita signature cocktails while tray passed Crab Cakes, Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, and Beef Picadillo Empanadas made their rounds. While everyone mixed and mingled, the newlyweds snuck away for photos together as husband and wife. Upon their return, guests checked the black and white seating chart and headed back out to the Courtyard for reception.
Black table settings contrasted white floral centerpieces and candles atop each table. Grant and Sarah made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Family and friends shared toasts while Classic Filet Mignon and Zucchini Lime Chicken with Smashed Baby Potatoes and Roasted Broccolini were served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. After dinner, everyone hit the dance floor for a group picture which then turned into lively dancing. To keep the energy up, guests were invited to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. As the evening came to an end, the newlyweds cut into their personal cake and had a celebratory send off into the night.
