Serra Plaza Sangeet
Bougainvillea, ranunculus, carnations, peonies, and other vibrant yellow, orange, and pink flowers decorated Serra Plaza for Pooja and Mithil’s sangeet. To complement the beautiful florals, tables were draped in ivory linen and topped with citrus fruits and candles. Stationed around the courtyard, a bindi and bangle bar and henna station provided fun activities for attendees and sparkling chandeliers hung above. Pink and gold lounge vignettes bordered a wooden dance floor and a special seat just for the bride and groom was decorated and reserved in the middle.
Pooja and Mithil posed together for photos around the venue matching the pink and ivory décor, and when guests began arriving, they made sure pictures were captured with them too. Hors d’oeuvres were tray passed while guests enjoyed drinks from the bar including the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, an Aperol Spritz and Cadillac Margarita. Everyone mingled in celebration of Pooja and Mithil and took advantage of the fun stations around the venue before finding their seats for dinner.
While guests enjoyed dinner, family and friends took centerstage and performed dances bonding the two families that would soon be one. The crowd cheered during and after each dance and the choreographed performance ended with a special show from the bride and groom. After their last performance, the couple encouraged everyone to get up out of their seats and join them on the open dance floor to commemorate the festivities for the following day. The evening ended inside the lounge where fun accessories and neon lights adorned party goers as they danced and well wishes were shared.
