Serra Plaza Wedding Celebration with Black and White Details

Serra Plaza Wedding Celebration with Black and White Details

Gianna and Ryan met at Mission San Juan Capistrano for their first look and portraits around the Mission to start the day. After the intimate moment, the couple headed back to Serra Plaza to meet up with their bridesmaids and groomsmen for group photos in the Courtyard. The bridesmaids were dressed in purple and the groomsmen wore black. Together, the group smiled for the camera capturing priceless moments they’d never forget. Once photos were done, the group lined up for ceremony.

Guests signed Gianna and Ryan’s guest book and took a seat facing the floral decorated Spanish fountain. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances down the petal-lined aisle. In front of all their friends and family, Ryan and Gianna read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were tray passed to hungry guests while the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, an Aperol Spritz and Pineapple Tequila Soda for cocktail hour. Guests mixed and mingled and posed for selfies with the bride and groom until it was time to take a seat for reception.

Tables were topped with white floral centerpieces, candles, and black details. Pear and Walnut Salads awaited everyone at their seats. Gianna and Ryan made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Roasted Atlantic Salmon with Heirloom Carrots and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the couple cut into their personal white wedding cake with raspberry creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. Energized from dinner and dessert, everyone hit the dance floor. Family and friends danced with the bride and groom in celebration of their marriage, and late night Meat Lovers, BBQ Chicken, and Chicken Pesto Mini Pizzas were served for those who worked up an appetite from all the dancing. The evening ended with lots of well wishes for the newlyweds.
