Serra Plaza Spring Wedding

Serra Plaza Spring Wedding

Emilie slipped into her wedding gown while Joseph suited up as guests arrived at Serra Plaza for the big day. Friends and family filed into the courtyard, signing the bride and groom’s guest book on their way in to take a seat. White, plum, orange, and yellow floral arrangements lined both sides of the aisle and more flowers spilled over the Spanish fountain. Once everyone was seated, the ceremony music began playing and the wedding party made their entrances. A tearful first look was shared between Emilie and Joseph as the bride closed out the processional. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Crab Cakes and Glazed Pear and Goat Cheese Tarts were tray passed while the bar was serving the newlywed’s signature drinks, Coconut Mai Tais and Old Fashioned cocktails. While guests mixed and mingled, the couple wandered around Serra Plaza with their photographer for some photos together as husband and wife. Upon their return, it was time for reception.

Tables were draped in ivory linens and topped with floral centerpieces and gold accents. Guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned tables. Emilie and Joseph made their grand entrance to a cheering crowd, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. While everyone enjoyed dinner, friends and family shared toasts. Glasses clinked in the air as the last speech ended, then the newlyweds cut into their two-tiered white cake with cappuccino creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in a slice before heading to the dance floor. After dessert, everyone made their way onto the dance floor to show off their moves. Dances were shared with the bride and groom, and eventually the party moved inside so the celebration could continue. To treat their guests, Emilie and Joseph ordered our Pollo Asado Empanadas as a late-night snack, and everyone loved snacking on them! The evening ended with a celebratory send off in the parking lot as the bride and groom got into a vintage car and drove away waving goodbye to their guests.
