Modern Black and White Wedding at Serra Plaza
Alyssa and Chris met upstairs at Serra Plaza for their first look after anxiously awaiting the moment all morning. A tap on the shoulder turned Chris around and happy tears were shed as he laid eyes on his beautiful bride. The couple shared sweet compliments and posed for a few photos, the lined up with their wedding party for the ceremony.
A modern welcome sign decorated with white floral arrangements ushered guests into the Courtyard where gypsophila and white roses decorated the space. Once everyone had taken their seats, a live violinist began playing and the wedding party made their entrances ending with Alyssa. In front of all their loving family and friends, Alyssa and Chris read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Guests were met with Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Seared Ahi on Wonton Chips for cocktail hour inside the Lounge. The bar served up Lemon Drop and Old Fashioned signature drinks while everyone mixed and mingled. Modern white armchairs and a sofa provided a stylish place for guests to sit back comfortably while enjoying refreshment while the newlyweds were off at Mission San Juan Capistrano posing for photos together as husband and wife. Upon their return, it was time for reception.
Back in the Courtyard, tables were topped with modern floral centerpieces and black details. Guests checked the seating install and found their assigned seats. Chris and Alyssa made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table where Pear and Walnut Salad greeted them for their first course. Family and friends shared toasts and salad plates were cleared to make room for the main meal of Lemon and Thyme Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Roasted Asparagus, and Fingerling Potatoes. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their personal wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with everyone dancing and celebrating, and the bride and groom treating their guests to a late night snack of In N Out.
